Jen finished her stint as a summer-school teacher earlier today. She’s now got a few weeks off before the fall school season begins. She decided to kick things off with a trip to the local farmers market. I took pictures.

Farmer's Market part 1

This is part 1 of a multi-part series of audio podcasts. A few weeks ago, me and Jen rode the bus to/from the world famous San Luis Obispo Farmer’s Market. I recorded the trip using my Giant Squid microphone connected to my iRiver. The intent here is to provide something similar to a “soundscape.” Editing here is minimal, so these files will probably only appeal to more adventurous listeners. This is also my first entry into the inaugural NaPodPoMo. A few notes about this recording:

  • @ 10:35 – We engage in a conversation with a dude at the bus stop
  • @ 19:39 – The bus driver stops the bus to close a ceiling vent
