More barnyard animals

On Friday, Jen and I bused up to the North County for the 2010 California Mid State Fair. We mostly walked around and looked at the different exhibits that were on display.

The first building we walked through was a craft building that included handmade stuff as well as baked goods. I think this cake is pretty cool.

Barnyard animals. We got 'em

Today, Jen and I took the bus up to Paso Robles for the California Mid-State Fair. Jen didn’t want to drive, and we wanted to avoid a repeat of last year’s drunk bus fiasco, so we decided to go during the day. We picked up SLO RTA Route 9 in downtown San Luis Obispo and headed to Paso Robles.

Photo Fraturday

I’m starting a new feature here at Shawnogram called “Photo Fridays.” It’s pretty simple. On Fridays, I’ll be posting some of the photos I’ve uploaded to Flickr during the previous week. Unfortunately, some pressing website maintenance issues took over my time yesterday, so I wasn’t able to get to it until today. That means the inaugural Photo Friday post is actually happening on Saturday, thus making it “Photo Fraturday.” Kinda has a ring to it, eh?

Vanya the wi-fi bunny received an unexpected gift this week from another member of rabbit kind. The red bow came as part of the packaging from a milk-chocolate Easter bunny. That bunny is no longer with us (because Jen ate it!) but its memory lives on.
