I think we’ve finally got that sewer gas problem under control. After moving some stuff around, I discovered this open drain pipe, hiding in the hallway:
We went to the hardware store later that day and picked up another Qwik Cap. Now the pipe is capped and so far, so good:
I seem to have come through my respiratory infection. Haven’t completely recovered, but feeling much better. Unfortunately, Jen’s come down with similar symptoms and she’s pretty sick. Guess that was inevitable. She’s holding off for now, but she may go and see a doctor if things don’t improve soon. We were invited to a party tonight but we had to cancel, which is disappointing. But, she’s in no shape to go anywhere right now. We spent the day at home. Watching TV and playing Viva Pinata. Read the rest of this page »

I haven’t been able to make up my mind as to whether or not I’ll be participating in this year’s NaPodPoMo. I completed the challenge in 2007 and 2008. And some good things came out of both of those months worth of podcasting. But this year, I’ve been feeling like I’d rather devote my time and energy to other things. Then, earlier today, I logged on to the NaPodPoMo site, and seeing the activity there got me a little excited at the prospect of doing it again. So, I’ve decided that I am gonna give it a try one more time. But I’m only going to continue with it if it stays fun. If at any time, I’m no longer enjoying the NaPodPoMo experience, then I’ll quit.
In the meantime, I’ve posted my first podcast this year using my AudioBoo account. And you can hear it here.

Last month, I signed up with AudioBoo. It’s an audio podcasting service that works with the free AudioBoo iPhone app. Posts to AudioBoo are limited to five minutes in length. So far, I’ve added five posts (or “boos”) to my profile. At first, I thought I might archive my AudioBoo posts here, but I’ve decided to just let ‘em live over on the AudioBoo site. If you want to hear ‘em, go to my AudioBoo profile page. You can either stream the files from the AudioBoo site or you can subscribe to them as a podcast using either the iTunes or RSS links on the left. I have no plan for AudioBoo posts. It’s been about a week and a half since my last post there. But they’re there, if you want to check ‘em out.
