I didn’t purchase Apple Care. That was the first of a few different mistakes I made here. I did get the iPhone as a refurb though AT&T, so I was never actually offered Apple Care. Still, I’m sure I could’ve purchased it eventually.

You need to go to the Apple store and get a Speck brand case. I looked at rubber ones like I have or the smooth slick white one with red felt like on the inside. You can not go wrong with Speck.

I just checked through the AT&T Wireless website to see whether or not I might be eligible for an upgrade. Best they could offer me was a refurb’d iPhone 3GS for $349.00. So, looks like I’ll be sticking with my original plan to have my current phone repaired.
