Here I think they call speeder cars section cars. They don&#039;t use many of them around here but out in the country and outback areas, they do. We have several pick-up trucks and larger trucks that have rail wheels fitted to them so they can be used on the rails as well as on the roads. Especially in my area, they are moving more and more towards vehicle based track inspections rather than walking down the tracks on foot.
