Jen's summer vacation, day 0.5

Jen finished her stint as a summer-school teacher earlier today. She’s now got a few weeks off before the fall school season begins. She decided to kick things off with a trip to the local farmers market. I took pictures.

Along with the various food and produce vendors, the farmers market also features street performers. This dude was banging away on a dulcimer. (We also saw him at last weekend’s Renaissance Fesrival.)

We decided to get some food from the Golden China stand. I had a chicken combination plate.

We also made an obligatory stop at Starbucks before heading home. Here’s all the stuff we bought at farmers market.

    All of that food looks so good. I should go to a farmer’s market sometime. They have one here every week, and yet I’ve never been to it.
