We discovered Lahaina’s about a month ago during a regular grocery run to Traders Joe. We were on our way to the Quizno’s, which happens to be right next to Lahaina’s, and were surprised to learn of this (relatively?) new eatery. We added Lahaina’s to our ever-changing Imaginary List That Doesn’t Exist of restaurants to visit. And today is the day that we removed Lahaina’s from that list.
Lahaina’s has a casual, comfortable atmosphere. The inside of the place is mildly Hawaiian in theme. But I don’t think Lahaina’s is trying to be a “Hawaiian place,” if that makes sense. The menu is simple, but effective: Burgers (of the meat and meatless varieties), chicken sandwiches, salads, fish/shrimp/calamari and a few other items. Jen and I both decided on small orders of fish and chips.
I really enjoyed this meal. The batter on the fish was crisp but not heavy, and the fish had a good flavor. The fries were pretty standard for fries, but were still pretty good. And that’s about all there is to say for this rather simple lunch. In terms of pricing, I found Lahaina’s to be pretty fair. Jen and I shared a drink and the total cost was around $15.00. On the way out, we ran into a neighbor who was stopping in to get some fish and chips of his own. Later, i asked him what he thought of Lahaina’s, and he said that he’s impressed with the place, too. He mentioned that he’d also had a burger there, and that the burger was pretty good. We’ll definitely be going back in the future, so maybe we’ll try one of them burgers next time. Until then, here’s a picture of Jen with a lime hanging over her head.

Like you said the fish was good. It looks good. The only meat type thing I would ever eat would have to be fish.
Now on to Jen. You look fuller in the face compared to other pictures. That shirt looks a little big on you. One wrong move and it looks like something might happen.
We all need days to let it all hang out and grab some foodz.
