Mitchell Park Rally

May 27th, 2009

jen and I (and a few other local Twitter users) attended yesterday’s rally at Mitchell Park in downtown San Luis Obispo. The rally was held in protest of the California Supreme Court’s decision to uphold Proposition 8. I recorded the different speakers at the rally using my camcorder and then ripped the audio from that recording. I also took some photos:

Good idea with the camcorder. The audio sounded really good. Interesting speeches at the rally and liked the catchy folk/protest song at the end. Had a 60′s vibe.

I support gay marriage, but I think it should be taken a step further than that. The government should play no part in anyone’s marriage. Discrimination is wrong!

I’m impressed with the quality of the audio. I’m really surprised at the supreme court’s decision. The majority should not have the right to discriminate against the minority.
