Angry puppy

November 15th, 2008

I took a late-night/early-morning walk today. And I took the portable recording equipment with me. In today’s podcast, I talk about the El Cerrito fire, I visit a gas station, and a neighbor’s dog whom we lovingly refer to as “Angry Puppy” makes a couple appearances.

Fire-related photos I took:

This is my fifteenth podcast for NaPodPoMo 2008.

  1. Colin G Says:

‘Angry Puppy’ wouldn’t happen to be a reference to Season 4 Buffy would it?

  2. Shawno Says:

Nope. I don’t even remember what “angry puppy” refers to in “Buffy.” Care to enlighten me?

  3. Colin G Says:

It’s how Buffy explains her Angel inflicted bite scars to Parker.

  4. Nathan Lott Says:

I was walking my dog while listening to this podcast. It was an interesting audio situation because it one point I thought it was someone walking behind me and it was just your footsteps I was hearing. Glad you all were safe from the fire.

I wonder if a smart individual could determine your pin number by the sound the different buttons make.

I usually wind up throwing those bottle caps out or giving them to other family members. There are only a couple of places around here that will take them. Such a rip off.

Just another way banks are ripping us off! Two dollars here, dollar there.

It was really nice going with you to the gas station and back!

  6. Shawno Says:

Thanks, Andy. I’m pretty sure the tones on the ATM are all the same. At least, I hope so. And you know, after paying the point-of-service ATM fee, my bank then charged me another two dollars on their end. What a racket.

  7. Andy Melton Says:

Oh Jesus Christ! That is a racket. I forgot to mention that I love that Jen and you call the dog “angry puppy.” My dog Brownie will bark at any foreign vehicle. He’s kind of like a doorbell, LOL.
