Fermented audio

In yesterday’s post, I mentioned having something all ready to go for today. Well, I can’t find the thing I had planned to post today. So I dug through my hard drive and found an unedited audio file from March/2007. If the date on the original file is correct, it actually predates the first post on this website. This is also one of the first recordings I made with the iRiver/Giant Squid rig.

As an editorial note, I’d like to point out that a lot of things have changed in my life since the recording of this podcast. All of them positive. Furthermore, some editing was done to make the audio flow better.

These are the buildings I refer to in the recording. Back then, they weren’t much more than concrete pilings.

“Fastest growing pile of manure on the Internet.”

    “Post - proooo - duction.”

“I hope all of these cars driving by me right now cannot actually see that I’m talking to myself… I should get a fake blue tooth head set for when I’m walking.”

“I used to tell people that if the military ever gives me a gun, get out of the country because we lost.”

“Canadia… actually go to Mexico. Margaritas.”

“Maybe I should just have an orgasmic blow out of food today… that would be awesome.”

“There’s really not that many working brain cells in that band.”

“What am I gonna do? Liquor store’s closed… I could get potato chips or something. I can’t go into a liquor store and say give me some freshly squeezed, organic… ugh, I hate walking.”

“I’m gonna feel dumb if I go in there and get nothin’… but I don’t wanna just get nothin’. I mean what are they gonna have? Nothin’. Why am I even going?”

“It’s a national cause everybody, get on it.”

    You’re just hysterical.

I appreciate that you took the time to listen to that whole thing, Wesley. Also glad it provided with you some entertainment.

I want a Seven of Nine style Borg implant. That way I’m highly fashionable and frightening to small children.

Note, the entry I commented on prior to this, the anti-spam word was “Lobster” and this one is “lobster.”

Did you say 2007? I love that this audio has fermented for more than a couple of weeks.

I remember that “Black Lab” song that we all bought on iTunes last year. I think I still have it. Seems like it was a pretty good song.

I’m just glad that someone got that Black Lab reference, Andy. The whole “bum rush the charts” thing was happening at the time I made this recording.
