I take most of the husk off before wrapping them in foil. I find the foil helps transfer the heat really well. Corn on the cob on the BBQ FTW!

Interesting technique, Tim. Do you leave the cobs in the husks and them wrap them in foil? Guess that'd be kinda redundant, huh? This method of barbecuing them in the husks (after soaking them in water) works quite well. I warmed up the grill, cooked the cobs for about 10 minutes and then set them on the warming rack while I grilled the sausages (always closing the grill lid between turns). So they were actually "cooking" for about 15-20 minutes total.

I find if you wrap the corn in aluminum foil, they turn out great. If you can put the hood down on your barbeque, cook the corn for about 20-30mins with the hood down. My "barbie" has a thermometer in the hood, so when it's up to the right temp, I pop in the corn already wrapped in foil and let them cook!

Didn't see these photos on Flickr. The corn and sausage look great. I've been wanting to write some political crap, too. I'm just lazy. That's my problem. LOL. Hope you're having a good week.
