Photo Fraturday

I hurt my back earlier this week, and because of that, I’m on drugs. Nothing too severe. Just enough that my ability to concentrate is a bit skewed. Hence, this won’t be a long post.

We went to the California Mid State Fair a couple weeks ago. We walked around a bit and saw the Stone Temple Pilots play on the grandstand. Those pictures are here.

My sister gave us an aquarium she no longer needs (because she replaced it with one that’s big enough to hold small whales). Photos of our new aquarium can be found here.

The new aquarium looks great. Have you got it fully stocked now? I miss having an aquarium. I might have to find me a small vertical aquarium. I’d love to have a large one but I know I’d hate cleaning a large one. I’ve got a 20 gallon in storage. I remember getting it as a birthday gift when I was in the 6th or 7th grade.

Unfortunately, some of the fish have died, so it’s not as full as it has been. (We also think that a couple of the neon tetras were eaten.) We’ll eventually get more fish, though.

And this tank is bigger than our old one, yet Jen says it doesn’t seem like it needs to be cleaned as often. Don’t know if that’s due to all of the snails or because the tank has a bigger filter or what.

Do ya’ll add in those “Crystal Clear” drops? I always thought those were neat. You put them in and in a few hours the water was gorgeous.
