Drama Cockatiel (Improved)

Last year, I posted a YouTube video response to the infamous “Drama Prairie Dog” clip:

I recently launched a new YouTube channel, and took down all of my old YouTube videos. (Those videos are still available here.) I didn’t want “Drama Cockatiel” to disappear, though. So I cut a new version of the video using Final Cut Pro (still have a lot to learn about that program). In the new clip, I tried to address the most frequent comment I received about the original video: “Where’s the zoom-in at the end?”

Me, Jen and a bunch of Aussies

Last week, me and Jen were guests on the Erkpod podcast. Click here to listen to the fun-filled 3.5 hour long extravaganza!

Erkpod is hosted by a bunch of guys from Australia, and they do a special “Round Table” episode once per month. They invited us to be their guests via Skype during the most recent Round Table. We had a lot of fun being on the show. Check it out if you’re looking for some audio entertainment.

Who says blogging doesn’t pay?

Last month, I wrote a food review of local restaurant Louisa’s Place. About a month after posting the review, I received a comment from someone named Kay who must be in management at Louisa’s. In her comment, Kay thanked me for the positive review, and she also said that on my next visit to Louisa’s, I could receive 50% off my check. Nice!

I haven’t been back to Louisa’s yet to take Kay up on her offer, but I will get over there soon. Anyway, who says blogging doesn’t pay?

Vanya got stuck

I woke up one morning to find our robot bunny, Vanya, stuck in this odd circular motion:

She corrected herself after a restart.

Another short Flickr video

I took this short video while standing on the Jennifer Street Bridge. This construction implement is moving debris around on the Railroad Square restoration site. I know the quality sucks. That’s why I uploaded it to Flickr.
