Downtown construction

September 4th, 2007

I had to go downtown this afternoon for an appointment. Just as I was about to reach my destination, I found a construction crew had blocked off the sidewalk. I had to double back around the block to go around the road/sidewalk work. I was only a few minutes late, so it wasn’t a big deal. Anyway, here’s some photos:

    I just found out they are going to start widening Rt 14, where I have to drive everyday. This cant be good!

    Isn’t it already four lanes in most places? Or is this happening on the west side of town, by the college?
