On Friday, we took a short drive over to Pismo Beach.
Jen found what we later learned was a live sand dollar. It’s unusual to find them still living. (She put it back into the water in an attempt to save it. It was probably eaten by a bird right after we walked away.)

Some kids were out flying their kites:

Seashells, rocks and other beach debris:

This guy got to try out a Segway. There’s a new company in town that’s renting them out.

We finished off the afternoon with lunch at Mo’s Barbecue, where you see things like this:

Segway plus Coca Cola equal contributing factors to why we’re all getting larger waist sizes! The beach pictures are great!

Thanks, Andy. I was surprised myself at the quality of some of the photos, especially since I was using my camphone. And I think the Segway is cool, but I wouldn’t want one. Last thing I need is a device that would replace the only real exercise I get!
