Shawno- I'm thrilled that Apple is finally coming to SLO. I've had dealings with the Mac Superstore and, while it's a good place, it can't compare with the Apple Store. 1) The Mac store has limited hours (isn't even open on Sunday) while, if this Apple Store is like the rest of 'em (& I've been in a few), it will have much better hours for dropping in to simply check out all the marvelous toys that you & I can't yet afford but covet. 2) When I had to (OMG) take my new iMac into the Superstore for a repair last year I waited 3 weeks for it's return, & then, after bringing it back to Cambria (a 70 mile round trip) it still wasn't fixed. I contacted Apple directly & they sent someone out to me (yep) & fixed it lickety-split. The new Apple Store will be something special, just as Macs, iPods & everything else Apple makes is special. They have their good name to uphold & millions of faithful users, like myself, to satisfy. So, Welcome to San Luis, Apple!
